Memory Lane, April 2000

I officially started our family blog just a few days ago on July 5, 2009. Our kids are already 1 and 3! Feeling bad that I didn't record the first three years of Claire's life, I decided I would retroactively blog those years. Then I thought, "Well, why not go back to when we first went digital and do highlights of our first years together?"

Daniel first bought a digital camera when they were first becoming mainstream in late 2000. I was NOT a fan of the digital camera yet. I wanted to be able to get hard copies of my pictures, darnit. So in my typical fashion, I resisted technological advancement in favor of the dark ages. This would come back to bite me in the butt on our honeymoon (story to come). For now here's our first picture taken as a couple. This picture was not originally digital, but Daniel recently scanned it to use on his desktop, so here it is. We were at a seventies party at a skating rink. We had both just turned 22.
